Welcome to the preliminary web page for the Sixth International BCI Meeting!
We are pleased to announce that we will host this meeting in the US in 2016, and are actively planning for it. The meeting is tentatively scheduled for May 30 – June 3, 2016 at the Asilomar conference center. While we are still developing most conference details, we do have some announcements, with events similar to our 2013 conference:
1) Scientific Content:
The Meeting will include posters, talks, demonstrations, and other scientific content. We are not yet seeking proposals.
2) Satellite Events:
We are now open to Satellite Event proposals. These events occur before or after the conference, and may be sponsored. Please contact Prof. Jane Huggins regarding Satellite Events.
We plan to host several workshops. We will seek workshop proposals in late 2015, but we’re open to proposals involving emerging and new directions with BCIs and user groups. Workshops occur during the conference, and may not be sponsored.
We are now seeking sponsors for the conference. Sponsors may provide funds directly to the conference, or may sponsor specific costs such as student travel scholarships or special events at the conference. Sponsors have included companies, government entities, universities, and individuals. Please contact Prof. Eric Sellers regarding sponsorship.
5) BCI Award:
The winner of the 2016 BCI Award will be announced at the conference. Please check the BCI Award website, which will accept submissions for the 2016 Award later, and is open for 2015 BCI Award submissions through July 1, 2015.
We are currently working to develop a logo for our Meeting.
Contributions are welcome. The Program Committee will decide on a winner and then post the winning logo on this website. Persons interested in submitting possible logos should email Brendan Allison by May 1st.
